I am aware of the fact that with current policies, being a law professional my application to canadian immirgation as a skilled worker has no good chances of success. May a pending application of my mother already filed by my real brother/sponsor who's canadian immigrant have any effects?

Your mother's sponsorship will have no effect on you. However, if you have been listed as an accompanying dependent in your mother's application, then you will have to meet the definition of "dependent child" to be eligible.
